Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
It took two cranes and two days of work to clean up a Pin Oak Tree that fell due to the ice storm.
Crews from the Lexington Tree Service say they spent 9 hours cleaning up a tree that fell on top of two homes, then lodged itself in a way that required a 40 ton crane and an 80 ton crane to remove it, piece by 7,000 pound piece.
We're told the owner of the home that received the most damage was out of town at the time the tree fell.
The Lexington Tree service says what remains tree will mostly be used for firewood and mulch.
