Police say two girls were taken into custody Saturday night for their alleged involvement in a fight at Bourbon County High School in which some 50 people were believed to have participated in at its peak.
The fight broke out at about 8:30 Saturday night during a basketball game against Paris High School. Police say it started in the gym and moved out to the front of the school.
One of the girls who was arrested actually kicked out the back window of the patrol car she was in and bent the window frame.
Police say the girls could face several charges including criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and inciting a riot.
