The homicide investigation continues into a police officer's death, and as state police piece together the investigation, the victim's fellow officers are mourning his loss.
David Ford worked for the Lebanon Police Department for three-and-a-half years.
On Wednesday, officers wore black ribbons over their badges and hung a wreath over Ford's picture in police headquarters in memorial.
Ford was found shot to death in his home in neighboring Taylor County. His wife, Tonya, was the one who discovered his body.
He was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot to the back of his head.
State police were back at the scene on Wednesday and allowed family members inside to gather some belongings for the funeral.
Police are not releasing any details about suspects at this time but so far, no arrests have been made.
Funeral arrangements for Officer David Ford have now been set.
Visitation will be Thursday, starting at 4:00 at Lyon Dewitt Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
His funeral will be Friday at 11:00 at Campbellsville Baptist Church with burial immediately following at Memorial Gardens in Campbellsville
