Showers and thunderstorms will begin to develop this afternoon and evening. Some of these could be strong or severe into the nighttime hours.
A Madison County man says high winds blew the roof off part of his home, while he was inside.
Winds ripped off an entire portion from the back of the Richmond home. The roof,a screened in porch, siding, and wood panels were flung nearly 200 yards away. Flying debris also took down a power line leaving the homeowners in the dark.
This is the second time in three weeks the homeowner has been without power. The aftermath of the ice storm left them without electricity for three days.
Despite the damage, the home is still livable and the homeowners were not injured.
