The National Weather Service was out on Thursday to figure out if storm damage across the state was caused by twisters.
They sent survey teams to Whitley, Garrard, Madison and Knox counties.
The assessment crews looked at the damage in those counties to determine if tornadoes touched down in the state on Wednesday afternoon.
So far, they've ruled it was straight line winds that caused the damage in Garrard, Whitley and Madison counties.
No word yet on the NWS ruling in Knox County.
