Storm Cleanup Underway In Lexington

The strong storm the blew across the state on Wednesday afternoon caused a lot of damage in Lexington.

Many people who had just had their power restored after the ice storm are once again in the dark.

The strong winds uprooted trees and caused branches, loosened by the ice, to come tumbling down.

Tree limbs now line many Lexington streets as people are once again cleaning up their yards.

One woman lost a 30 year old pine tree at her home. It fell onto her carport, but her home was spared. It will take lots of chainsaws to remove it.

Crews are still working to restore power in some areas.
