INEZ, Ky. (AP) - Residents in an Eastern Kentucky town are wary while authorities search for a man accused in a triple shooting.

School officials canceled classes in Martin County's six schools Tuesday. Officials say they are still unsure if school will resume Wednesday.

Kentucky State Police say they are looking for 47 year old Billy Sartin. He is accused of fatally shooting Jeffrey Mattox and Billy Proctor in Inez. Sue Collins was also wounded in the Monday night incident.

Neighbors say Mattox, Collins and Proctor had been quiet, friendly residents, while Sartin was unpredictable and had a reputation for intimidating people.

Sartin, also known as William Ray Starr, had served a three year prison sentence on a stalking conviction in Johnson County. He was released from prison in August 2003.
