On Friday, police in Lexington arrested a man wanted for a Louisville murder.
25-year-old Donald Fielder is accused of killing his girlfriend, 43-year-old Antigone Smith.
Smith's 9-year-old daughter found her, strangled to death, at her Louisville home. A 1-year-old child was also in the home at the time.
Investigators say Fielder stole her car and drove to Lexington, where police captured him Friday.
Fielder had outstanding charges in Lexington and will remain here for the time being. Investigators plan to seek an indictment in the murder case next week.
