A man has fallen to his death in the Red River Gorge in Powell County.
Officials say the older man may have been hiking by himself when he fell 175 feet to his death.
Three hikers interviewed by authorities say they had seen the man hiking earlier in the day.
Crews from Powell, Menifee, and Wolfe counties helped in the recovery mission.
Late Sunday night, authorities identified the man as Ronald Trick, 63, an architect from Powell, Ohio.
The coroner says Trick was an avid camper, hiker and walker and had been to the gorge several times.
