Updated: Thu 11:45 AM, Sep 21, 2006

Officials say a man accused of kidnapping his girlfriend is expected to appear in court on Monday.

That's the latest since a chase that spanned several counties, ended in the man's arrest.

A massive police chase happened in Rockcastle County. Police say the man arrested was wanted for abducting a woman out of Cincinnati.

Police say Sean Lackey kidnapped his girlfriend after she tried to break up with him. They say Lackey then took off down I-75.

Kentucky State Police spotted a white Jeep Cherokee in Madison County matching a description released by Cincinnati Police. Troopers tried to stop the vehicle, but it would not pull over. That's when the chase began.

KSP put out stop sticks, disabling a tire on the Cherokee. Eventually the driver lost control in Rockastle County.

Police arrested Sean Lackey. They found his girlfriend tied up in the backseat.
