Lexington's Finance Chief To Resign

Kyna Koch, Lexington's finance commissioner has resigned to take another job.

"Coe" Koch was named commissioner when Mayor Newberry took office in 2007.
There are reports that the mayor wanted to give her a 12-percent raise to keep her, which bothered some people, given the tight budget.

Her resignation takes effect on february 27th, when she will become a member of the legislative research commission staff.
