Lexington's Blue Grass Airport has released a "progress report" to outline steps being taken following allegations of employees' inappropriate spending.
Board chairman Bobby Owens says the airport has taken aggressive steps to correct mistakes made in the past in order to prevent future problems.
The board has already accepted resignations of Executive Director Mike Gobb and hired an interim director to fill that position.
Officials are also reviewing a number of airport policies and have terminated employee credit cards.
All these steps come ahead of the state's audit report, due next week.
