A central Kentucky hospital gets a face lift and it's one that patients will notice immediately.
Officials with Pattie A. Clay Hospital in Richmond showed off its $4.2 million renovation on Sunday. It includes 22 new private rooms for patients.
The rooms are decorated with art work made by students in Madison County. Hospital officials say it is important to get the community involved.
Another phase of the renovation is set to start on Tuesday, and the project is due to be finished in September.
