Guantanamo Detainee Said to be En Route to Britain

LONDON (AP) - The lawyers for a Guantanamo detainee say he's en
route to Britain.
Former British resident Binyam Mohamed is expected to be in the
country later in the day.
Mohamed has been in U.S. captivity for seven years. Four of
those years have been spent at the U.S. prison camp in Cuba.
The Ethiopian refugee came to Britain when he was a teenager but
his residency has since expired. British authorities say they'll
review his immigration status upon his return.
The 30-year-old's case is at the center of several lawsuits in
the U.S. and Britain. He claims he was brutally tortured at a CIA
black site in Morocco and that the British government knew about
the abuse.
