Dozens of Dogs Will Die If Not Taken In

Dozens of dogs and cats in Adair County will be killed if they aren't adopted or taken in by the end of the week.

The animals were rescued last week from "filthy conditions", but the Green River Animal Shelter--that rescued the animals--does not have the resources to keep and nurse them all back to health.

Now the shelter is begging for anyone, individuals and shelters from around Kentucky to step in and help adopt the animals. If the animals can't be adopted out, or taken in by another shelter they will be euthanized by the end of the week.

Anyone intersted in helping can contact the shelter at (270) 385-9655
