General showers will be the main action over the next few hours. A few could remain on the strong to severe side in eastern parts of Kentucky.
A fire breaks out in Clark County, causing major damage to a home.
It happened in Winchester off Taylor Avenue. Dispatch first alerted fire crews around 8 p.m. Sunday evening.
Upon arrival flames were shooting out of the back of the home. The fire started in the attic of the house and quickly spread to the second floor.
Most of the damage was contained to those areas, but the first floor of the home did suffer water damage.
Crews were able to get the homeowner out without injury. As of Sunday night, a cause had not been determined, but crews did rule out arson.
