Trial Begins In Repo Man's Murder

The trial began Monday for a Lexington man accused of murdering the man who repossessed his car.

Brandon Robinson Is charged with murder.

Police say he shot and killed David Smith in June of 2007.

Police say it was right after Smith repossessed Robinson's car.

Smith was found sitting in the driver's seat of the car with several gunshot wounds.

The car had crashed into a tree near Kirklevington Park.

A court-ordered mental evaluation was ordered and completed on Robinson last year.
