Teen Battling MRSA Infection Dies At UK

A Central Kentucky high school student has died Tuesday after battling MRSA.

West Jessamine High School junior Ryan Robinson died at U.K. Hospital after fighting the staph infection that was very difficult to treat.

Robinson went to the hospital over the weekend.

A letter went home to the parents of classmates Monday.

Workers have cleaned the high school as well as the Jessamine County Career and Technology Center, where Robinson had at least one class.

Robinson plays soccer for West Jessamine.
