Investigators are looking into what started a fire at a central Kentucky home on Wednesday evening.
The flames broke out at around 6:00 at the house near the intersection of Lisle Road and Lemons Mill.
Investigators say it started in the attic, and the top half of the home has heavy damage.
Everyone made it out safely, thanks to a son's quick thinking. He smelled smoke and made sure his family escaped the burning home.
The family says they will be staying with friends and family until repairs are made.
