Southern Kentucky Takes Late Winter Hit

The snow made for a slick commute in some parts of Kentucky late Thursday into early Friday.

Police worked a number of accidents caused by the snow.

In Northern Garrard County, police say a female driver lost control of her car and ran off U.S. 27 near Kentucky 34.

The car slid off an embankment and overturned.

The driver suffered minor injuries.

At almost the same time, police in Jessamine County worked an accident on U.S. 27 near Camp Nelson.
