Scattered storms will develop into the afternoon hours and a few could be strong or severe. High winds and hail will be the main impacts.
University of Kentucky didn't punch their ticket to the big dance but their post season tango isn't over.
The cats will play Tuesday night in the NIT and some fans have lined up for hours just to get their hands on tickets.
A few faithful fans fought the elements waiting to get their hands on the tickets. It was a cold and wet Monday morning but that didn't stop some fans from waiting outside.
More than one dozen spent the night outside Memorial Coliseum and many others joined them right before student tickets went up for sale at 8:00 a.m. Some waited for more than 8 hours in line because there is a limited amount of seats.
One fan tells us "it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the cats play at Memorial."
While many fans are enthusiastic that the wildcats will play on their home turf; many others are less than thrilled they didn't make it to the big dance.
The ticket office will be open until 6:00 Monday night and will reopen at 8:00 Tuesday morning.
