Former Governor Touts Careers In Science

There is a renewed effort to get woman into science careers.

Students at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary School in Lexington watched a special presentation Tuesday morning by some scientists from Georgetown College.

The program was meant to encourage interest in scientific careers and former Governor Martha Lane Collins was also on hand to talk about the importance of education.

Collins stressed that scientific and technology careers are the future of the American workforce.
