School Board Meets For First Time Since Outburst

Members of the Clark County School Board met Tuesday night. It was the first meeting since a heated discussion where the superintendent and a board member had a disagreement that was all caught on tape.

Members discussed the school system's budget, where money should go and whether to send a representative to a national conference.

It was much different than last month's meeting when Superintendent Ed Musgrove and board member Wendy Berryman got into it over a $2,500 graduation event expense.

But there was one outburst Tuesday night when a parent raised concerns over just how much money is being spent on each student, and why.

Musgrove, who has one year left in his contract, plans to leave his post in June.
