It's a big week for basketball in the bluegrass.
Not only are several Kentucky teams playing on the national scene, some of the best high school teams in the state are facing off in Boys Sweet 16 championship.
The first round of games kicked off at noon at Rupp Arena in Lexington.
Fans from across the state have flocked to see their teams have a chance at a state title.
The opening round of eight games will be played on Wednesday and Thursday. The championship game, as always, will be played on Saturday night.
On Wednesday afternoon, West Jessamine came from behind to defeat Hazard and Grayson County defeated Adair County.
