Nancy Gauze says she's found horses malnourished at a farm near the Salt Lick Community off of Highway 211. Some of the horses even dead.
A situation so bad, some say the horses were even eating horses.
In February, nine horses were confirmed dead, more than four dozen remained with many still in bad shape, but neighbors say the problem hasn't gotten better.
County officials started an investigation last month. But Kentucky State Police have gotten involved along with the Society of the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals.
