Snow line is beginning to crash into parts of central Kentucky. The rate of snow will pick-up this evening and into the overnight. Some of these snow bands could produce 1"-2" per hour at times.
Interstate 64 in Rowan County reopened around 7:30 a.m. Friday after a serious crash.
The eastbound lanes were closed for a little more than one hour at milemarker 146.
At least one car caught fire and another flipped over.
Two helicopters were called to the scene and an ambulance transported a third patient to the hospital.
The severity of their injuries hasn't been released.
