Fans didn't disappoint as they filled stands at Rupp Arena for the Sweet Sixteen highschool basketball games.
But some fans at Rupp Arena had their eye on another game as well, and it wasn't playing on Rupp's court.
State Representative Rocky Adkins had a personal interest in two games in particular. He's a former player of two programs still competing in basketball tournaments, Elliot County High School and Morehead State University.
When the decision had to be made, he chose to cheer on the highschool team he played for, from the stands.
However, he still managed to sneak away to a television next door to see the University of Louisville take on his other alma mater the Morehead State Eagles.
But the state representative says win or lose for his teams, the night was about Kentucky teams playing some good old fashioned basketball.
