Body Found In Bell County

Middlesboro Police are investigating the death of an unidentified man found in a canal.

Police say the man's body was found in the canal behind East End Elementary School by two local fisherman Sunday morning. The body was sent to Frankfort for an autopsy and positive identification.

He's described as white man with brown hair, brown mustache, and a small patch of hair on his bottom lip. He was wearing black framed glasses and has blue eyes. He was wearing gold chain with two charms, one is an "R", the other a cross, a plaid shirt, blue jeans, with a "Southern Utah Thunderbirds" pullover.

He's between 5'10 and 6'0 tall and about 170 pounds.

Middlesboro Police ask that anyone with information call them at (606) 248-3636.
