Search Underway For Prison Escapees

An all out manhunt is underway Monday (3/23) night, because three dangerous prison escapees could be in Kentucky.

Police say the three escaped from an Indiana prison Friday night. They reportedly attacked three brothers this morning at a home in Sanders, Kentucky, in Carroll County.

Police say the three inmates, who were all serving long sentences for serious crimes, assaulted the men, tied them up and stole everything from food and clothes to weapons.

State Police say the search for the three men, now covers several states, from Kentucky and Indiana, all the way to Missouri.

They say the men could be driving the pickup stolen this morning. It's a green 1998 extended cab, Ford Ranger with Kentucky plates 78-25BZ.

It has a dent on the rear fender.
