Police now say they have positively identified a body found in Woodford County on Thursday afternoon.

The news comes as a relief for her family and friends, who say they can finally have some closure.

Police tell 27 NEWSFIRST they used dental records to positively identify the body as that of Patricia Last.

The 65-year-old disappeared in October from her Versailles home.

A person discovered the body down a ravine, near the Kentucky River, in rural Woodford County. It was wrapped in a tarp.

Many have suspected her disappearance was foul play early on.

Police are now working to determine her cause of death. Though there are no suspects, Richard Kincaid, a former workhand for Last, has been listed a person of interest after finding some of her belongings in his possession.
