Our winter storm is shattering records. 17.1" of snow fell in Lexington and that's the most ever recorded during a two day snowstorm. We've had 32.1" of snow in the last 17 days.
The news of Coach Billy Gillispie's firing has people talking, all across the state.
Student on campus huddled around television sets, to see the announcement on Friday afternoon.
The scene was much the same at sports bars and restaurants across Lexington.
The news also has radio listeners chattering.
At WLAP, on the "Show With No Name," dozens of people called in to weigh in on the dismissal of Coach Gillispie.
Like most fans, some of them were even talking about who they want to replace Gillespie.
But not everyone was happy to see Gillispie go.
Many callers at the radio station think the coach wasn't given enough time to succeed.
Some Gillispie supporters also gathered outside Memorial Coliseum on Friday to protest the coaching change.
