Constable Injured Update

New information in a story we brought you Wednesday about a Carter County constable.

Police now say they're not sure how Elmer Kiser ended up unconscious in the road in front of his truck. Officers found him after responding to a 911 call.

Kentucky state police say Kiser had been following a reckless driver near Olive Hill, but they have now interviewed that driver and searched his car.

Police say no arrests have been made at this time. Kiser is in critical condition.
