Kroger Shopper Turns Violent

An incident at a Kroger store in southern Kentucky turned violent Thursday night.

It happened at the Kroger on U.S. 25 in Corbin.

That's where investigators say a man tried to leave the store without paying. When an employee approached him, police tell 27 NEWSFIRST the man tried to cut two workers with a knife.

The man eventually got away, but officers say he knocked over a 54 year old woman on his way out of the store. The woman's foot was injured.

Police are looking for the suspect who's described as a white male, 6’03” – 6’04”, 400lbs with Brown Hair. He was wearing a Red Ball Cap, Lt Blue Shirt with an emblem on back and blue jeans. The man was driving a mid 1980’s Red Plymouth Reliant K with 2 doors with oxidizing paint.
