Video will be available shortly

Tates Creek Middle School sent home letters to parents Friday, alerting them to a "hit list" an eighth-grade student admitted to writing.

The 14-year-old student admitted to writing down the names of three students at the school. Fayette Co. public schools says the student cooperated with all officials involved in the investigation. The student admitted to writing down the names -- but told investigators he had no intention of hurting anyone. The families of the three students have been notified of the list.

The student who wrote the "hit list" has been removed from the school and was sent home with his parents.
