The risk for strong and severe thunderstorms will be on the increase late this afternoon into the evening. The Storm Prediction Center has placed the entire area in a slight chance for severe weather through Wednesday.

Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Blue Grass Airport

A scare Saturday evening at Blue Grass airport when a commercial airliner had to make an emergency landing.
The Northwest flight landed without incident, but the sight of fire crews on the runway was still a bit of a shock for people on other flights.
There's still no word about why the plane had to make the emergency landing.
