Frightening news from Fayette County schools, after a student is arrested for having a gun in his possession.

Henry Clay High School parents received a letter home alerting them to an arrest that happened at Friday's football game.

A 14-year-old student had an unloaded gun at the game. School officials say the freshman did not have bullets and they don't believe he actually intended to use the gun.

The student has been removed from school and charged with possession of a weapon on school property. He will also face legal consequences through the school district.
