Friday's weather may have been dreary, but at least it wasn't dangerous. April 3rd is known to be a busy day for tornadoes.
In fact, Friday marked the 35th anniversary of the worst tornado outbreak in U.S. history.
Nationwide, there were 148 tornadoes, 315 people were killed and more than 5,000 injured.
In Kentucky, at least 26 tornadoes struck, killing 77 people and causing damage estimated at $110 million.
