Passengers Respond To Independent Inspection Findings

Leaders at Blue Grass Airport fired back today after aviation experts hired by attorneys representing Comair Flight 5191 victims' families said they had concerns about the airport's safety.

A group of lawyers hired by victim's families and aviation experts retained by those lawyers were out this morning around the same time flight 5191 crashed a month ago to examine the conditions the flight crew faced.

After the inspection, the experts concluded there were problems with airport signs and lights and that they shouldn't have passed federal standards.

After hearing of the findings, some passengers have some anxiety about flying out of Blue Grass Airport while others say it doesn't make them nervous.

One passenger we talked to said what happened was an accident, but the airport is doing what they can to make things safer for everyone.
While others say they are nervous to fly in and out of the airport.
None said the findings would keep them from flying.
