April Snow Showers Cause Spring Shock

The snow flakes really fell in some parts of the state.

Snow showers fell steady throughout Tuesday morning in Lexington, coating car windshields, and even roads in some places.

The snow made the roads slick and even led to several crashes around Lexington. Georgetown Road was shut down for a while after at least two crashes at the I-75 overpass.

27 NEWSFIRST received calls from many areas reporting tricky road conditions. One school system, Powell County, even went on a 2 hour delay.
