Search Intensifies for Missing Man in Red River Gorge

Investigators stepped up their search Thursday for a man believed to be missing in the Red River Gorge.

Todd Harlacher's truck was found abandoned earlier this month in Menifee County. Crews have been searching since the truck was found on September 9th.

Thursday, members of the state emergency search and rescue squad joined local search crews as well as a team of cadaver dogs.

At this point, officials are considering this a recovery mission.

The weather has hindered the search as the trails become slippery from rainfall. There are no time limitations on the search and it will start up again Friday morning.
