The search continues for a man who fired shots a sheriff's deputy in Shelby County.
Police say a deputy was attempting to serve a warrant at a home on Hempridge Road around seven Thursday night, when someone started firing shots at the officer. The deputy was not hurt.
Kentucky State Police helped the Shelby County Sheriff's Office search for the suspect, but they were unable to locate the gunman.
State Police say that when the gunman is arrested, he will face felony charges.
