The change to complete snow continues to work southward across Kentucky. Snow rates will come in around 1" to 2" per hour. Those rates could be even higher under some of the more intense bands.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A Louisville crash involving four cars has resulted in two deaths after officials said a toddler died from from her injuries.
Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Jim Wesley says 16-month-old Daphnie Mangrum of Louisville was pronounced dead Friday morning at Kosair Children's Hospital of traumatic brain injury.
Wesley says the child was not in the same car with the other victim of Thursday evening's crash on Dixie Highway.
The Courier-Journal reported 44-year-old Janet Crowell of West Point was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Jack Arnold.
Police said two other children and two adults were hospitalized after the crash, which occurred about 5 p.m. EDT. Police said the crash remains under investigation but no charges are pending.
