Accident Sends Man to UK Medical Center

Video will be available shortly

Fog may have contributed to a wreck on US 460 in Bourbon County early Monday morning.

Nineteen-year-old John Brandon Ransdell is listed in serious condition at UK Hospital after his convertible BMW ran off the road and through a plank fence hitting several trees before it stopped.

A heavy fog blanketed the road this morning. Police say pieces of fence and car were flung as far as 75 yards from the crash scene.

Randsdell is the son of former Sheriff John Ransdell.

We'll have an update on Randsdell as it comes available on 27 NEWSFIRST @ five.
