The Fayette County Health Department is delivering some shots in the arm now that flu shot season is here.
Health officials say they have plenty of flu vaccine this year and will be giving shots from now through December. Seniors we spoke with say it's important to get a flu vaccine shot because they know they're at greater risk.
Flu shots are available at the Fayette County Health Department Annex on Newtown Circle. Shots are $20 and medicare and medicaid as well as all forms of payment are accepted.
Clinic hours are from 8:00 to 7:00 pm Monday through Thursday.
