It started as a conversation in a chat room and for some Kentucky men, it landed them behind bars.
An internet sting aimed at catching child predators in the act caught seven men, including one who works with children for a living.
The sting hit men from Flemingsburg to Louisville who were a teacher and a father. Seven arrests were made, but the problem is, officials know there are so many more out there.
Seven men were arrested for trying to entice a child to have sex with him over the internet. A 24-year old man, Steven Dunci, Stumbo says has been notified to school officials in Fleming County about his arrest.
Six others, including 44 year old Jeffery Barnes of Lexington were all arrested in the weekend sting. Stumbo says they plan to do more. There are about 50 alleged predators on their radar who they are trying to find.
Each of the seven men arrested have been charged with use of an electronic device to entice a minor into a sexual act. All but one of the men is also charged with attempted unlawful transaction with a minor.
