Woman Recognized for Her Love for the Written Word

There was a special honor Wednesday for a woman who will soon turn 103 years old.

Mrs. Helen Pohl is the first woman to be inducted into the Ten Squared Talking Book Club, a group that honors people over 100 who remain actively engaged in reading.

First lady Glenna Fletcher inducted Mrs. Pohl into the club Wednesday.

The Ten Squared Talking Book Club is a club sponsored by the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.
