The man accused of murdering UK Football player, Trent Diguiro is one step closer to finding out if he will get a change of venue.

Shane Ragland's attorney's conducted a survey asking Lexington residents if their client can get a fair trial. According to the survey's finding the majority of the public believes Ragland is guilty and a jury will be bias.

350 people participated and 168 people stated they believe Ragland is guilty. Three stated he is innocent. 95% of people polled say they have knowledge of the case.

Ragland's attorney's tell 27 Newsfirst, the reason for the survey is to support their argument for a change of venue. His attorney's claim the media attention has tainted the Fayette County jury pool and an impartial jury cannot be seated.

Commonwealth's attorney, Ray Larson says, he does not want a change of venue. Ragland will be back in court for a change of venue hearing on November 30th
