The risk for strong and severe thunderstorms will be on the increase late this afternoon into the evening. The Storm Prediction Center has placed the entire area in a slight chance for severe weather through Wednesday.

I-75 Reopens in Laurel County

Southbound I-75 in Laurel County reopened Thursday morning after a major accident involving several vehicles.

Three semi trucks, a pickup truck, and an SUV were involved in the crash.

Everyone survived.

One person went to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

American Red Cross, local media join forces for tornado relief
