The change to complete snow continues to work southward across Kentucky. Snow rates will come in around 1" to 2" per hour. Those rates could be even higher under some of the more intense bands.
The largest owner of radio stations in the U.S slashed nearly 600 jobs today, including some popular on air radio personalities here in Lexington.
The parent company of Clear Channel cut 590 jobs in its second round of mass layoffs this year.
The company laid off nearly 1,900 in January.
Today's job cuts included reporter Karyn Czar of news radio WLAP, popular radio hosts Karl Shannon and Scott Wilson, both of 98.1 The Bull's Moo Crew, as well as some others at Clear Channel.
Wilson a comedian who had been with the station for six and a half years says the news was not a surprise simply because of the prior cuts.
