Madness is in the air.
Thousands came out to Rupp Arena Friday night to get their first look at the '06-'07 basketball cats.
This is the second year Big Blue Madness took place at Rupp Arena, and fans filled the place. All 21,000 tickets to the event were given out in just a few hours.
It's not only the teams first official practice, but it's a chance for the fans to see what the cats are made of, as well as get a look at some new players.
WKYT's own Christi Thomas served as MC for the event, along with former Wildcat Kyle Macy.
